I was on HRT happily for 20yrs then last June I had a stroke and was taken off my HRT cold turkey. Immediate hot flushes about 20 in 24hrs, day and night. After 6 months I’ve insisted I go back on it even though I was told risks exist. I was on Premerin and was not told there was a safer method. I’m now having a gel, and the immediate reduction of flushes and improvement in mood and ability to cope with my new circumstance of disability.

As my adult daughter suffers from eczema flare ups from time to time I found this podcast very informative. As recently as last month her eczema flared up badly on her face & neck. I suggested she try kefir & probiotics & honestly was amazed at the outcome. Within a week itching & dryness had gone!! Skin returned to normal!!She couldn't believe it herself! Gut health obviously played a big part in her eczema .

Hysterectomy is not always a cure for endometriosis. I recommend joining the Facebook group 'nancy's nook' and reading their files, and reading message threads and posts etc before making drastic decisions about this. Take your time to research and don't rely on your gynaecologist, especially if it's on the NHS and it's just the women's clinic at the local hospital that your go referred you to. You're allowed to request your own clinic anywhere in the UK based on 'NHS Choices.'

Excellent podcast on healthy bones. I was especially interested as I'm a nurse who has worked in fractures \ orthopaedic wards for over 10years. Prevention is better than cure & the more aware we become of importance of good bone health the fewer fractures we will see!! So beneficial, thank you.
