John Parr rules, I love this album!
Great listen, thank you. Eagerly awaiting that new doves LP.
I wonder what she thinks about Cindy Bullens.
Correction: The Dummies are from Winnipeg! Not just outside of Toronto.
This is fab ā¦ What a shame we didnāt get to follow up :(
My guitar hero since discovering Saucer Surfing in the 70ās
PS he didnāt write any of the music. He wrote the lyrics. Dave & Reg created the melodies, John added his excellence & then Mark added lyrics. Thatās why thereās no more new stuff from him & still isnāt. Thatās why he has his patreon begging bowl. No writing
Legal proceedings being taken. Libellous. Read up on the truth guys. Canāt believe this pile ofhas been aired
Concerning the Exposeā interview. You only have part of the story. The reason it felt like it happened so fast for Jeannette is because there were 3 original girls who toured for years and promoted Point of No Return and Exposed to Love and secured the album deal with Arista before the second lineup. Why does no one ever talk about that? Jeannette, Ann and Gioia took everything to the next level but there is a much more interesting story here. There are 2 versions of Point of No Return.
Brilliant interview. Thanks!
Very good. Silvia, fan of Music Legends.
LoVe The Fixxā¦ Every Five Seconds is a masterpieceā¦ To me one of the greatest albums of all timesā¦
Been following Mikeās work for 35 years since I was a teenager, wonderful musician, powerful lyricist and what a voice. Fantastic podcast. 10/10
Awesome interview!! love it!!!
This interview with Chris Hayes is excellent, when I first saw Chris play his solo in āSome of my lies are Trueā, I knew Iād witnessed an incredibly talented guitar player, my air guitar could never keep up! What an interesting person Chris is and your questions were well thought out. Thank you for creating this.
I loved her, sorry I ditched her records when I changed to CDs. I remember her in an interview, promoting āYouāre sexing meā, the DJs were total jerks. I was so upset for her and felt powerless to do anything
Fantastic interview with Amy Ray!
Sorry it wasnāt what you wanted. Youāre welcome to start your own podcast, get him as a guest, and ask whatever you want.
So more than a bit disappointing for me. I am probably the only person on the planet who cares, or maybe Peppy too, for that matter. Anyway, l don't mean to be completely negative, you have a great idea for a podcast here and you have some fantastic artists on. I just wish they could talk more, and that a little more research was done before the interviews. Cheers!
Oh my gosh, man, can you please be quiet when your interviewee is speaking? Ask your question and let them talk! The constant stream of "yeah", "good", uh-huh", "interesting", etc., makes your interviews almost unlistenable! And 2nd, do a little homework, beyond the one album you know! I have been a fan of Wiggy Bits for over 40 years and was beside myself that l might get to hear him talk about it. Not only did you not know about it, he brought it up twice, and you steered him away from it!
Great writer and musician.
Loved that Boots is a legend seen him so many times, due to play a local venue in March cannot wait
Great interview Steve - Pete Saynor , see you on tour in UK. I bought your test pressing of together.
