Wow, fellow drummer from UK, I never thought I’d hear everything I’ve learned and rabbit hole adventures over the last 3 plus years, be confirmed by you VC. So sad to hear Pete’s story but relieved to hear you’ve bounced back.. I’ve met so many ‘Awake’ and like minded people and can say there are many of us out there.

I was just thinking about the idea of needing and knowing boundaries to experience freedom earlier today. When listening to this episode and your commentary on society it makes me think that there is too much ”freedom” of individualism -especially for the young- to value the freedoms that society offers. Thus more prone to just give those freedoms away, accepting the oppression as a welcome yoke to guide... engineering of consent.

This was a fantastic episode. I just wanted to not that Omaha Nebraska has more talent than you’re giving it credit for (I don’t live there). I happen to know that there are world class musicians in both the Jazz and Classical department of University of Nebraska doing work that does push artistic boundaries. Omaha is also the home of (former Chicago native) Jackie Allen, a world renowned jazz vocalist. Anyway I guess that just furthers the point being made in the episode. Great music all over!
