Red’s Barber Shop is a production of Lowco Media, a grassroots media company producing content that celebrates the people and place of the South Carolina Lowcountry. Tony ”Red” Bruin is a New York City native who went on to star at Syracuse, where he was the first McDonald’s All-American to sign with coach Jim Boeheim. All the while, Red spent his summers in the Lowcountry with his grandparents, and he has dedicated his adult life to coaching and mentoring young people in the Lowcountry community. Along the way, Red and local sports journalist Justin Jarrett became friends and collaborated on various projects to help kids in the community, so it was a natural fit for Red to call on Lowco Media to produce his vision for a podcast in which he and a co-host chopped it up with some of the high-profile pals he has crossed paths with over his decades in the basketball world. With your support, we can continue to produce more episodes of Red’s Barber Shop and dedicate more resources to grassroots LOCAL sports coverage through LowcoSports.com.
Hosts Angela Huser (Anchor Home Group, Keller Williams Realty) and Will Savage (PMC Mortgage) discuss life and business in the South Carolina Lowcountry with some of the most interesting and vibrant personalities from the community.
