The Mekori, commonly referred to as witches, have been hunted since before written history. The witches of the Highlands fled persecution to a new land that would come to be known as Appalachia. From the white-sand beaches of the South Carolina coast to the lush green valleys of East Tennessee, there are stories of unnatural creatures roaming around these parts. Hiding in the darkness, waiting for just the right time to… well, maybe we shouldn’t be scaring the youngins like that!
