Securus Originals produced this limited series podcast Defying Destiny in partnership with national nonprofit In Our Backyard. This Oregon-based nonprofit fights against human trafficking by raising awareness, education, providing services to survivors and advocating for legislation. Host Cheryl Csiky, the Executive Director of In Our Backyard, is a survivor of human trafficking herself, and has spent years helping other Survivor Siblings tell their stories to begin or continue in their healing journey. These are their stories of triumph and healing.
