On August 6, 2003, Sherry Mathery’s life changed forever. After removing herself from an abusive husband and home, things were looking more positive. Until that fateful day when she returned to her husband’s home requesting he sign the divorce papers. He had been drinking heavily and did not want to sign them, nor did he want her to leave. So, he tried to stop her with a bullet to her head. When he saw what he did, he turned the gun on himself. The shot to himself was fatal, but not to Sherry. She survived and shared her story with Greg in January 2018 (Click Here to Listen to Her Previoius Interview). It has now been 15 years. How did she grieve? Listen to Greg’s interview as she discusses her journey of grief.
