The Sinn Fein MEP Liadh Ni Riada says the actions of the former Sinn Fein MP Barry McElduff cannot be justified on any level. The Ireland South MEP says that in hindsight, Mr McElduff should have resigned after the controversy arose following his tweeting of the video of himself in a shop with a loaf of Kingsmill bread on his head. She said that the initial decision to only suspend Barry McElduff from party activities for three months, was a collective decision taken by the Sinn Fein party.
