75.2 Classics and Hidden Gems 1996: Hamlet, The Phantom

Issue 75 of Double Reel continues with Classics and Hidden Gems, where we catch up with a great film one of us hasn't seen and tell you about a lesser known film you should give a chance to. The theme is films from 1996 that are having their 30th anniversary, and our Classic is Branagh's lavish and comprehensive screen version of Shakespeare's Hamlet. Then our Hidden Gem is a film not may people saw or liked, but we'd like you to check out the 30s-set superhero film The Phantom.
