Not every answer is clear: Dr. Alla Rudinskaya talks ANA, PA integration, and the gray areas of rheumatology

In this episode, Dr. Alla Rudinskaya, the Anthony and Patty Rizzo Endowed Chair in Rheumatology, who has a passion for education and healthcare innovation, discusses the complexities of ANA testing, the importance of thoughtful interpretation, and why a positive result doesn’t always equal disease. She also advocates for expanding the role of physician assistants in rheumatology to meet growing patient demand and emphasizes that in many cases, it is okay not to have a definitive diagnosis, as long as patients are heard.
