How should Christians deal with persecution? Chris Boraston's exposition of Acts 4:1-22 provides some answers. Arrested after healing the lame man at the temple, Peter and John display five principles to follow under persecution. 1) Trusting in God's sovereignty they did not resist arrest, 2) they relied upon the Holy Spiri , 3) they proclaimed the gospel, 4) they obeyed God rather than men, 5) they stood together with the healed man, united in defence of the faith.
