Her grandfather was the last President-Elect of Cuba before Castro took over and her family was exiled and forced too start over in a foreign country, so Teresa Rivero  truly understands the value of an opportunity. Overcoming a learning disability that wasn't diagnosed until she reached college, and the expectation that a Cuban daughter should not stray far from family, she fought hard to achieve her educational and career goals independently... and is now managing hundreds of millions of dollars for one of the largest foundations in the world.
