What happens when you don’t heal from the hurts of a past relationship? You carry your wounds and your hurts. They can continue to surface and you become skilled at avoiding thinking about these... and in doing so you disavow the parts of you that need your love and attention.

One of the greatest things that love teaches us is about the authority we have to be autonomous, self-nurturing, self-responsible ~ able to care for our needs and to do so in loving ways.

The purpose of love is so many things. It is to heal, to rebirth, to be wise to realize that love is the energy of grace and forgiveness and kindness.

It is to follow a path inward to one’s self knowing that it will be safe to do so.

In my work with clients those who accomplish the most profound healing journey they could ever imagine – do so because of their willingness to open themselves in trust, in the trust in themselves and in me that they will not be alone because thus far and for any of the reasons, they have felt alone or lonely or unloved, ashamed, hurt, betrayed – the brilliance of love is this ~ pure and easeful and forgiving.
