Europe watching Irish elections closely – Clune

European countries are watching the Irish elections very closely. So says the Fine Gael MEP Deirdre Clune. Fine Gael is a member of the European People’s Party Group in the European Parliament. The EPP Group includes Angela Merkel’s CDU party and it is the largest group in the European Parliament.  Deirdre Clune says her European colleagues are keen to see what will happen here on election day.
