For most of us life and business show up very differently to the get rich quick story we are fed on social media.

And if you are in the helping professions - bodyworker, healer, therapist, creative, you went into business because you wanted to help others, and express your creativity in the world. 

One of the gifts of being a small business owner for me has been that I’ve got to (had to) heal my relationship with money, specifically at the intersection of money and spirituality/service. This has required that I look at beliefs, money trauma, privilege and gender bias. I firmly believe being in business is a powerful personal development journey because your goals require that you become the best most authentic version of yourself.

This week I talk to Jane Chevalier from Circular Path Consulting. Jane is a consultant who helps bodyworkers and healers wanting to pivot their business away from solely hands-on work, to leverage their skillset and find greater financial fulfillment within their wellness business.

We talk about fears, burnout, and our relationship with money. We discussed how this often shows up as undercharging or struggling to generate a profitable business… how we overcame that and what to do about it if you’re struggling with the same issues.
