Advent 2019: A New Hope

Today is the first Sunday of Advent 2019. We look this season at the angels who visited earth around the birth of Christ and the songs that resulted from those visits as recorded in the Gospel of Luke. Today we look at Zechariah the priest, who was met by the angel Gabriel when he was performing his temple duties. The Scripture text is Luke 1:5-25.
