Love is Love - Stardust and My Beautiful Laundrette Fly the Flag for Equality

In autumn 2019, the Belgrade Theatre hosts Stardust (14-21 Sep) and My Beautiful Laundrette (29 Oct-2 Nov), two shows highlighting the experiences of LGBT British South Asians. With the Fly the Flag campaign marking 70 years of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 24-30 June, we asked directors Samir Bhamra and Nikolai Foster what their shows have to teach us about the freedom to love who we choose.
