This week, get a glimpse into gallupARTS' Gallup New Deal Art digital project, which is currently in development. Hear Laguna artist, educator and historian Teri Fraizer's perspective on New Deal artist J.R. Willis' interpretation of southwestern history in the series of murals he painted for the Gallup schools in 1936. Willis' murals currently hang in the Gallup High School library. The Gallup New Deal Art project is supported by funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
