CABW 069: Because of Sam: Inclusion for Intellectual Developmental Disabilities

Dr. Sandi Eveleth is an Optometrist, Certified Master Marketer, and a Certified Digital Business Consultant who had the opportunity to work on a "passion project" movie as the film's editor and associate producer called Because of Sam. It's about an amazing young man who was born with Down syndrome and is now being shared as an educational program to teach healthcare providers, corporate workforces, and non-profit organizations about empathy and the importance of inclusion in their locations for those with intellectual developmental disabilities.

The film won the People's Choice Award for Tampa's Downtown Urban Excellence Awards for the sold-out, standing ovation screening event at the historic Tampa Theatre.
