This week saw an extraordinary chapter in the controversy around Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, and his friendship with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein,

Andrew was arrested on Thursday morning on suspicion of misconduct in a public office, and has now been released under investigation.
