The Gnat & the Bull
Once, a tiny gnat was flying around the meadow, making lots of buzzing noise despite its small size.
Eventually, it landed on the tip of one of the horns of a big bull.
After resting for a little while, the gnat prepared to fly away.
But before leaving, it apologized to the bull for using its horn as a resting place.
The gnat said, "I guess you're happy to see me go now, right?"
The bull replied, "It doesn't make any difference to me.
Honestly, I didn't even know you were there."
Sometimes we think we are really important, but others may not even notice us or care as much as we think they do.
