A former trained nurse and midwife, Marion is passionate about ensuring women have a wide range of choices to support their health. In this latest podcast, Marion shares the impact of watching her mother build a successful career with the NHS, after the loss of her father and credits her mother for showing what can be achieved with determination and the right attitude. Marion also shares the importance of surrounding herself with people that are different from her and the positive impact of having a team who are different in background, skillset, interests and experiences. Like many leaders, Marion’s biggest challenge has been recently when taking on a new team role during the first wave of pandemic. Making connections and hoping to develop and inspire a new team without personal contact is something so many have endured these past couple of years. A great listen, full of heart!
