Pop Legends Are Back: Madonna’s Confessions & Robyn Kills

It's a very culture-packed week, and Clara and Munroe are fully recovered from their summer colds and ready to debrief. This episode is a love letter to pop OGs doing exactly what they want... starting with the big one!

Munroe was at Madonna's Club Confessions party and Confessions II has now been heard. The verdict? Munroe is floored. From Danceteria's duet with Lourdes the heartbreaking Fragile the reclamation of the ACT UP triangle on the cover, and Madonna's prophetic track record on the internet and cultural decay: listen to the Madonna album more times than you care to.

Then: Munroe caught Robyn at the O2! A show of radical simplicity that somehow made the O2 feel intimate. With Every Heartbeat live reduced the floor to rubble, Love Kills finally happened in the flesh, and the crowd (approximately 80% gay men, 20% women) collectively lost their minds.

Clara attended Formula One for the first time as a guest of Lewis Hamilton's Mission 44 charity. She also attended the launch of Candice Carty-Williams' Queenie sequel, and is firmly in Lulu's corner after meeting her at a screening of Olivia Wilde's new film The Invite (co-written by Rashida Jones).

Over It this week: people who don't wash their hands in public bathrooms, gym-goers who leave sweat prints on the equipment and walk away and anyone leaving a gooch print on a cycle machine without wiping it down.
