56 | Isabel Shiller: Joking Around

On today’s episode of Who Is with Ross Oteri, Isabel Shiller (she/her) talks to Ross Oteri (he/him) about her comedy and acting careers, doing stand-up, and what inspired her to pursue her dreams. Isabel tells Ross about her goal of becoming a children’s TV writer and why Canada is the perfect place to pursue it. Isabel gives us insight into what led her to strive for success in comedy and acting as the two discuss her role as Gabby in Valinof Media’s Suburban. They also play “2 jokes and a lie,” where Ross has to guess which of the three statements is a lie and which ones are jokes based on true stories. Can Ross get it right?

Maydha tries to chat with Ross about the 2016 trend while he’s distracted by Nee-Doh. Ross frustrates (ragebaits) Maydha with his inattention as she tries to have a genuine and real conversation about all the good things about 2016 that we need to bring back. As usual, this conversation comes with tangents.
