KEXP DJ Jewel on Velvet Meadow’s AI Diss Track

Host Evie Stokes talks to KEXP DJ Jewel about Florida-based psych rock band Velvet Meadow and their song “The Velvet Showdown.” Jewel speculates that this might be one of the first diss tracks aimed at A.I. – setting their sights on the A.I. band The Velvet Sundown. The song comes from their 2025 self-released album, Saturday Morning Meadowlies.
