Today, in one of our most serious episodes, we discuss an incredibly important topic: domestic violence and sexual assault in sports. Recorded on International Women’s Day, we tackle the inefficiencies of the criminal justice system and collegiate/professional sports teams/leagues in responding to a growing crisis. One in four women in the US will become a victim of domestic violence; sports present a unique platform to raise awareness about this staggering statistic, and they provide opportunities to stand with these victims in an effort to effect change.
