In our hyper-connected digital age, it is easier to connect with family, friends, and even digital strangers more than ever before, yet studies reveal more people report feeling profoundly alone. For decades many have studied and tried to diagnose and discover the psychological and social reasons for overwhelming loneliness and despair. The fundamental reason for loneliness is more than a psychological or social problem, rather the roots of loneliness are fundamentally a spiritual problem.
