On this week’s episode of Board Gaming with Education, Dustin interviews Biophysics student and game designer, Will Hanson. The two discuss Will’s introduction into collecting playing cards and his history with role-playing games like Final Fantasy. We learn about Will’s double life as a Ph.D. student in biophysics and as a game designer. The two also have a lengthy discussion about flow state, the benefits of entering flow, and how it is properly achieved. Lastly, we get the full scoop on Will’s game, Fano, a fantasy inspired strategic card game played with a standard deck of playing cards.
