Many screenwriters have problems committing to a single idea. Either they have 5 ideas for movies and just can't choose, or they choose one, get started...and soon find themselves up in the middle of the night thinking about another idea. A BETTER idea.
The problem is: if we don't commit, we won't get to the finish line.
