Dion ”Devious” Norman

New Orleans rapper, producer, journalist and teacher Dion “Devious” Norman has been apart of and witnessed some of the greatest moments in New Orleans Hip-hop history. Growing up in the 17th ward , he witnessed the inception of Hip-hop in the early 80’s and its effect on New Orleans music culture. The Xavier University graduate released many albums over the years and helped produce one of the most important records in New Orleans music history called “Where They At” by Dj Jimi. We had a chance to talk about his life and more in an in depth conversation about the present, past and the future!
