Should we as Christian parents really aim to be kicking our kids out of our home as soon as they turn 18?

This is an EXTREMELY cultural - not Biblical - idea, yet I meet SO many Christians who believe the lie.

Instead of taking the 3 obvious milestones the Bible talks about when it comes to maturing children and our roles as mothers and fathers, we just swallow the cultural lie, hook, line, and sinker, and then wonder what went wrong.
