Hey Shelvies! In this week’s episode, we are joined by Sierra Godfrey, author of women’s fiction such as A Very Typical Family and The Second Chance Hotel. As a technical writer by day, Sierra knows how to make complicated subjects more easily understood. But when it came to plotting her first novel, she hit a stumbling block. After first trying to rewrite it to fix the issues, she realized she needed to shelve the story. But she reused the same core sibling premise to write her next book, and that became her first published novel—proving once again that shelved books can be un-shelved successfully. Oh, and she might describe a character development idea that involves your character’s purse or wallet! (It blew our minds!) Come have some fun with us as you listen to our captivating stories and then share your own! We’re looking forward to hearing about your shelved book! #writingtipsandtricks #amedit #amediting #amwriting #writer #motivation #writingtips #writingtipsandtricks #highconcept #womensfiction #writingtips #romance Podcast Links Twitter: @shelvedbookspod Instagram: @shelvedbookspod Anchor: https://anchor.fm/shelved-books-podcast Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/22vU5nd4mLsmLw0BjBWQDa Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/shelvedbookspod TikTok: @shelvedbookspod Podcast Email: shelvedbookspodcast@gmail.com Angie's Links Twitter: https://twitter.com/AngieSandro FB Page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Angie-Sandro/253044268078356 Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Angie-Sandro/e/B00HUXNWHI/ YT: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuBNkUMD0W7SAPYJzz40y-A Christie's Links Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChristieBerman FB page: https://www.facebook.com/ChristieBermanAuthor Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/Christie.Berman Kate's Links Twitter: https://twitter.com/WriteWithKate Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kateevangelistawrites/ FB Page: https://www.facebook.com/WriteWithKate/ YT: https://www.youtube.com/c/KateEvangelista/ Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Kate-Evangelista/e/B007Z723R4/ DJ Caz: https://www.cjedmunds.com/ Photographs used in the creation of the thumbnail can be purchased from their creator(s) (aroas) on Deposit Photos: https://depositphotos.com Affiliate Disclaimer: This description may contain affiliate links.
