In episode 112 of Relate, we discuss why we need entertainment. Entertainment often gets a bad reputation because there are multiple studies out there that discuss the danger of too much TV or YouTube, that they can have a negative impact on our minds and bodies. This is true; we must take entertainment in moderation. But there can be a lot of positives taken from the entertainment industry. We discuss its power to bring people together, how it activates empathy, and how it can educate us all the same.
