You may have been to a hotel, library, subway station or town that bares their name; vaguely remember that one of them went down with the Titanic, or recall seeing their modern decedents in US or UK tabloids. But who were these captains of industry and Queens of society? Today we’ll sort out the Astor family tree, put faces to the famous names and unearth their scandals! We’ll explore how they got their incredible wealth, what they did with it and what their decedents are up to today.
