The investigation into the Siders' home in Vinton County, Ohio, is moving forward as the mother of the 16 children removed from the home asks the judge grant her release from jail. Elizabeth Siders' attorney has asked the judge to allow her to be released without posting cash bail saying she is indigent. Elizabeth also wants to be reunited with her children, according to her lawyer. Meanwhile, Gary Siders Sr., 73, remains hospitalized for treatment of a serious, undisclosed medical condition as questions about his mental state mount.
