Disney had never managed hotels before, but they decided to get into the business when they opened Walt Disney World. I take a look back at Disney getting into the hotel business in central Florida. There are two parts - the addition of hotels along Hotel Plaza Blvd, and the Hilton Inn South that taught the new Cast Members how to run a hotel.
