Trigger Warning: This episode discusses suicide. The National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is 988 if you or someone you know needs help.
In this episode, Sherley speaks to Travel CNA, Syaisha Alexander about her past, present, and future. First, we learn about Syaisha’s youth which includes but is not limited to an abusive relationship in high school that lasted for almost ten years and a three month experience in a psych ward. Then, Syaisha walks us through what helped her finally move on from the negative energies in her life and the power of not looking back. Finally, she discusses what she has learned through all of her life experiences, which are gold as she steps into her future. This is a heavier episode and not one for popping popcorn and relaxing, so definitely make sure that you are in the right mindset to listen to these hard moments and what it took to push through before pressing play.
