Yvonne Orji is best known for playing Molly Carter on the series Insecure. Her performance was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2020. Yvonne is also a stand-up comic and has a new HBO special titled: Yvonne Orji: A Whole Me. The special is a follow up to her 2020 comedy special: Momma, I Made It! Orji is from Nigeria and while she was a grad student, she entered a beauty pageant and performed stand-up for the talent portion of the event.
