Discipleship in a Hostile World: The Sandwich

Kevin Bentley teaches from Mark 14:1–11. In this passage, we see a contrast between those plotting against Jesus, a woman who lavishly anoints Him in love, and Judas, who agrees to betray Him. This raises an important question for believers: What is our true motive in following Jesus? Is it a genuine desire to honor and live for Him, or a desire for personal convenience and gain?
