Footy fever is gripping the nation with a weekend of showdowns in the AFL which started with the Adelaide Crows sending retiring captain Rory Sloane off in style. The Crows bounced back to secure a 30-point victory over the Power, making it three wins on the trot over their cross-city rivals. Meanwhile, in the NRL, the Rabbitohs' woes continue after suffering a 42-12 defeat to the Panthers.
