The Santa Rosa Hitchhiker Murders

In the early 1970's a murderer preyed on young female hitchhikers in the Santa Rosa area of Northern California. There are 8 confirmed victims that have been linked together. Then in a 1970's FBI report, they more than double the list of victims that are attributed to this killer, who has never been found. Two of the most notorious serial killers have been on the list of suspects in this case, including the Zodiac Killer and Ted Bundy, but ultimately proved to not be responsible for these crimes. So who is responsible and will this case ever be solved?
