It's actually from later in the first year of the podcast (October 2019) but we really wanted to play it again for you - here's how we described it at the time.

Original billing for this episode: In one of our favourite episodes ever, Kate Thornton is joined by poet Lemn Sissay and actress Lisa Faulkner for a no-holds-barred discussion of foster care and adoption in the UK. Lemn and Lisa come from two vastly different experiences: Lemn was taken from his unwed mother and placed with a foster family who turned him out of their home when he was 12; Lisa adopted her daughter in 2006, and counts it as the best decision of her life. Listen for a moving lesson in love and belonging.
