Robert Mailer Anderson has written, produced and contributed to the soundtrack for “Windows on the World,” a drama about an Mexican citizen who searches for his father, an undocumented immigrant presumed dead in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks. Anderson joins Datebook music critic Aidin Vaziri and pop culture critic Peter Hartlaub to talk about living in S.F., music and the challenges of creating an independent film in the blockbuster era.
