Something a little different this month as we take advantage of a few days away by catching up with a classic of modern Irish cinema which (shamefully) neither of us had seen, The Crying Game. Yes, we knew about the infamous “twist” and all the awards that were showered upon Neil Jordan’s screenplay and directing, but somehow it had slipped through the net over the years…
