We have evidence dating back thousands of years that the undead terrorized our population in one way or another. Though the term has changed, as have the descriptions and ways of dealing with them, vampires still exist today. They’re in our literature and film, they’re a part of most cultures, and some even believe that the supernatural beings still walk among us. So today I wanted to take some time and discuss what the vampire is, what it means and has meant to the people of the world for thousands of years, and tell some of the most famous stories of real-life vampires.
