An historic event occurred during our special live recordings of Hard NOC Life from the Smithsonian's CrossLines pop-up culture lab on intersectionality. The NOC and Black Nerd Problems formed a Nerd Voltron when we were joined by BNP's own Lauren Bullock. In addition to her work with Black Nerd Problems, Lauren is an accomplished slam poet and organizer. We talk about her writing influences; how she met BNP editor-in-chief William Evans; being tri-racial and the intersection of race, gender, and nerd culture. Lauren also announces BNP's Magical Girl Design Contest.
