Mysteriously Listed True Crime

Each year about 35000 people are reported missing in Australia. That’s one person every 15 minutes. More then 95% are located within a week. But some like the cases we discussed the next two episodes. They remain missing for decades. 14 women vanished in the Hunter region of New South Wales in the late 1970s and 1980s. Several of these women were believed to have been murdered by Ivan Milat, the Backpacker Killer. He is still considered a prime suspect in many of the cases we will discuss the next two episodes because they fit his MO and he worked in the area at the time. We may never know since Milat died in 2019 taking his secrets with him to his grave.
