Episode 1 - The origin of Durga Puja | দুর্গা সহায়

Along with the mythological narrative of Durga Puja, there are a thousand and one other stories surrounding this illustrious festival. In this episode, Nrisingho Prasad Bhaduri, a renowned historian and Indologist, tells us more about the festival. Apart from the Puranas, there are intriguing stories surrounding this Bengal folk festival. Asian Paints has gladly celebrated the festival since its inception, giving rise to Sharad Samman, which has become synonymous with the festival since 1985.
