Amanda Capitummino serves as the Communications and Evaluation Specialists with Sitkans Against Family Violence. Her work focuses on creating systems and programs that promote healthy relationships in home settings. Sitkans Against Family Violence (SAFV) is located in the remote town of Sitka and has been providing services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault since 1980. SAFV operates a 25-bed shelter, serving victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes.
