The Heart of Discipline, Revisited

Disciplining our children is hard work!  This conversation is with my mom, Connie Burroughs, who poured herself into discipling the hearts of her four children for so many years and has encouraged many moms on this topic of the heart of parental discipline.  Between her four children and my five children, it is incredible to see the many different struggles that can come with training children.  There will be a follow up episode with some specific tools of discipline, but it must begin first with the heart.  We talk about our heart when we are disciplining our children and the ways that we strive to reach the hearts of our children through their training.  Truly, the ultimate purpose of discipline is to lead our children's hearts closer to the Lord, that they may serve Him with their lives.
